چکیده

The performance of cellulose fiber-reinforced cement-based composites (CFCCs) depends not only on the characteristics cement matrix and fibers but also bonding property fibers. durability including various properties such as impermeability, frost resistance, carbonization resistance has an important impact long-term service life structure. presence a large number hydroxyl groups molecular chain can promote formation intra- intermolecular hydrogen bonds cellulose. This special structure imparts high hydrophilicity, which leads hydration C-S-H gel to adhere surface cellulosic (CFs) induce its growth. cavity CFs good water absorption be used internal curing fiber for continuous composites. But in Portland tend deteriorate under strong alkali conditions. paper presents review research CFCCs. methods paths improve CFCCs are summarized analyzed from perspectives CFs, deterioration matrix, use many types supplementary cementitious materials. Finally, development engineering application have been prospected.

Wet/Dry Cycling Durability of Cement Mortar Composites Reinforced with Micro- and Nanoscale Cellulose Pulps

A combination of reinforcements at different levels can have a synergetic effect on the final properties of a composite. The aim of this work was to produce, evaluate, and compare the wet/dry cycling durability of the exposure of cement composites reinforced with conventional pulps at the micro-scale level, with nanofibrillated cellulose fibers at the nano-scale level, and with combinations of ...

Analysis of Milling Process Parameters and their Influence on Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composites (RESEARCH NOTE)

Milling of fiber reinforced polymer composites is of great importance for integrated composites with other mating parts. Improper selection of cutting process parameters, excessive cutting forces and other machining conditions would result in rejection of components. Therefore, machining conditions are optimized to reduce the machining forces and damages. This work reports practical experiments...

Study on an Improved Phosphate Cement Binder for the Development of Fiber-Reinforced Inorganic Polymer Composites

Magnesium phosphate cement (MPC) has been proven to be a very good repair material for deteriorated concrete structures. It has excellent adhesion performance, leading to high bonding strength with old concrete substrates. This paper presents an experimental study into the properties of MPC binder as the matrix of carbon fiber sheets to form fiber-reinforced inorganic polymer (FRIP) composites....

Effect of Fiber Surface Treatment on Wear Characteristics of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polyamide 6 Composites

Ozone modification method and air-oxidation were used for the surface treatment of polyacrylonitrile(PAN)-based carbon fiber. The surface characteristics of carbon fibers were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The interfacial properties of carbon fiber reinforced polyamide 6 (CF/PA6) composites were investigated by means of the single fiber pull-out tests. As a result...
